At Mountain Stream, our vision as church is that we would both love God and love people. Any trace of love we have or show exists only because God first loved us and sent His Son Jesus to save us from our sins. As a Worship Team, we help the church accomplish its goal by engaging the church in passionate response to the truth of God’s Word which inspires greater devotion to Him and compassionate service toward others.
We do this first by saturating ourselves in the truth of who God is and what He has done for us, as revealed to us in the Bible. Our songs, readings, prayers, and other avenues of communication will be grounded in the truth of God’s Word. We want to know Him as He has made Himself known. When we come to know Him, we can then rightly respond in song, word, and action, praising God for His worth and work, letting His truth transform our lives, and sharing His hope with a lost and dying world. We want to show Him – in our songs and in our lives.
