How should I dress for the services at Mountain Stream? Since the congregation at Mountain Stream is very diverse: socially, culturally, and generationally, there is no one particular style in the manner our people dress. As you stop by, you will find that some dress more casually (jeans and a shirt/t-shirt), others prefer a more formal outfit (dresses and suits). Choose what fits you best and let God work in your heart! How long are the services? Our morning Worship Service runs for about one hour and thirty minutes (from 11:00am to 12:30pm). However, all guest and attendees are invited to arrive early and stay late to enjoy a great time of fellowship around our refreshment table. All our other weekly services will run for about one hour each.
Is childcare provided during the service? Childcare is provided during our Sunday morning service.
What is the music style in the Sunday morning Worship Service? In keeping with our desire to minister to a diverse group of people, we make an effort to blend various styles of music into our services. In our selection of songs, you will find contemporary songs, classic and modern hymns, African American gospel, some songs in Spanish, and more. Our desire is to see our congregation learning to serve one another, especially when the subject relates to areas of personal preference, such as music styles. We are also a "Sing Out Loud" congregation, God calls us to worship without dignity, to dance and clap and sing and shout, because it is a demonstration that we are more concerned with worshipping and honoring Him then worshipping our own reputation. It is a way to demonstrate that glorifying Him is more important than glorifying ourselves. Is parking available and easily accessible? Yes.
